I’ve been scheming up this special styled shoot for our precious Roman for months now….and the day of our shoot, wouldn’t you know, we ran into MANY obstacles. Some behind the scenes I think you’d appreciate….1. wind was blowing soooo hard it blew the tent down 4+ times, 2. cotton candy kept melting and only lasted 15 minutes before it dissolved! so we had to leave it out, 3. couldn’t blow up and use balloons because wind would have them at a perfect 90 degree angle during shoot…..lol!, 4. Roman was acting like a little wild man, probably because of the wild weather….5. contemplated re-scheduling AFTER we finally set up everything, but after much determination and pushing forward, we DID IT! Go with the flow, go with the flow! Special thanks to my husband for painting the props and my good friend Jessica for helping set everything up and stabilizing everything! What an adventure it was!
It felt so good to finally do a special shoot for our little man who is about to turn 4 in April! He loves watching Wild Kratts, playing baseball outside, playing fight the bad guys, directing his play with us, being a SILLY boy and loves to make Daddy belt out in laughter, (such as sitting on his head…lol), eating snacks, going to church, staying home from school and being his wild little self, and now, the idea of soon being a BIG BROTHER to a ……
We are so excited to finally share with you some exciting news!! I told Roman during the shoot if he was having a brother or a sister. All this time, we asked his preference and he would say, I want a brother AND a sister, my brother can sit by me and my sister can sit over THERE. lol! We knew it was time to add another addition to our family and we did knew Roman was MORE than ready…we think this is absolutely perfect for him and we couldn’t be more excited for him to grow up with a best friend! Coming July 28th….
